My belief and passion is to study the Word of God in it's context, focusing on what it is saying and not what I want it to say. My goal is to understand what the text says, what the author meant, what the original reader would have understood it to mean, and what the Holy Spirit is saying to me through it.

My passion is to teach from this, from the word. To share what the Lord is teaching me in my private studies and to use personal experiences to connect with those listening, learning with me, or reading my words.

I am no expert. I am no preacher. The more I study the more I realize how little I know. Speaking and teaching is not because I want to be seen and praised, it's because I want to learn more and see the God of the Universe known and glorified.

I spent High School letting insecurities rule me and College being prideful, afraid, and selfish. I made mistakes and truly learned how much I need God.

I never thought I would speak or teach. Sure, I like hearing my own voice, but I am not equipped or qualified to teach.

Turns out, God doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called.

So this is me, stepping out in faith and trust. I dream of seeing a change in the world. Of standing alongside young women and helping them to overcome insecurities, pride, and sin to become a biblically rooted, vulnerable, and loving woman of God.

My Messages and Focus include the following:

  • Young women (Specifically girls ages 16-25)
  • Social Justice and seeing the Church treat all of God's children how we are told to. To love all and live out 1 Corinthians 9
  • Helping women identify and address the fears that keep them stuck, with practical steps to walk in their calling with confidence.
  • Helping believers let go of control and have trust in the Lord's plan for their lives.
  • Seeing women be free from Insecurities and pride.
  • Teaching and encouraging women to be vulnerable and to grow from their struggles.

Statement of Faith

  • I believe in the trinity of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • I believe the Word of God was God Breathed,  inspired by God, and is infallible.
  • God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe and people. He is the one true God. He is all-powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all wise. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all.
  • Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself human nature with its demands and necessities and identifying Himself completely with mankind yet without sin. He died on a cross for the sin of man, was buried, and as scripture states, rose on the third day. Christ now sits at the right hand of God in the heavens.
  • The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Through illumination He enables us to understand truth. He exalts Christ. He convicts us of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He calls us to  the Savior, and effects regeneration. At the moment of regeneration He baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ. He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts by which they serve God through His church.
  • Salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone
  • Obedience to our Lord’s command to lead people of all nations to faith in Christ and to grow in Christ-likeness
